Tonight, it's quail eggs, chicken liver, sour cream, soup base, potatoes and onion. I suppose I'll boil all the boilables, then fry things together, and serve with some leftover couscous. Or maybe not the couscous. There's not much left of it, anyway . . .
Which has nothing to do with what I've been doing for the past week or so. I've been traveling. And my professor has every right to think I'm a total slacker. On the other hand, if I lower the expectations sufficiently, when I come up with the Brilliant Theory of Everything, he will be that much more impressed.
And clearly, quail eggs are part of The Brilliant Theory, as is the new hat I'm knitting. Um. The coffee shop I'm going to do work in tomorrow, however, is absolutely not going to be where I suddenly figure out Math. At all.
If I don't go cook now, I'll never eat . . .
