I got licked by a baby cow! Then it got scared and scampered away.
We meet some people vacationing in this resort town as we came down the mountain from our hike. They were really nice and gave us a ride back into town. On the way, they took us to a place that sells cheese and salami. The cheese is make from milk from cows that live right there in the farm. We just sort of walked into the barn. The cows tried to lick us. We took lots of pictures. It was fantastic!
The hike was cool, too. It went up the mountain to a cross on the top that overlooks the town. There were 57 switch backs, and little sign posts that counted down, so you knew how far you had left to go. The wind was really cold on top though, so it was a bit hard to eat our bread, bresaola, cheese and tomato. But delicious. I had also gotten a chocolate pastry that turned out to be filled with nutella. Mmmmmm
