Yesterday was a transit day. We flew to Dublin and had Irish breakfast, then to Paris where we had sandwiches and quiche for lunch, and then we took a train to Zurich, where we had German food. I had this amazing veal liver with hash browns and C had pork schnitzel.
Today we're taking a train through the Alps. It's a special train with windows that reach into the ceiling, and a tour quide explaining things in German.
We have had first breakfast, second breakfast, and now we just got to prosciutto sandwiches on fennel bread from a restaurant a mile up in the alps, so elevensies.
