I'm having problems with making blog posts. When I write this, am I talking to a friend of mine? Which friend? Am I talking to myself? Then why am I writing it down? And I certainly don't want to think that the world is interested in what I have to mumble about. That would be unpleasant, because I don't know the world. Yeah, I know, putting stuff online and simultaneously worrying about privacy is bizarre.
Also, I only seem to blog when I'm already very tired, and prone to lacking cohesiveness. I know! If I write a bunch of jumbled things down, people will get curious, and send me emails, and then they'll get even more jumbled excited emails in return, and no one will know what's going on! It'll be great.
But really, I think I'll have to postpone blogging more until actually exciting stuff happens. Which will be when I go to France, soon. For now, I'm just taking care of the messy technical stuff that needs to happen for cool stuff to happen. And it kinda sucks.
In the meantime, I'm planning on making a shirt. This really needs to get written, because if I don't, I might never actually make it to the fabric store, because summer is making me really really lazy. And if I do make it to the fabric store, I'll get to see if I can finally make an actual shirt. My first attempt (4 years ago) failed, and my second (last summer) turned into a vest-dress . . . confection. I'm not quite sure what else it is, but although I like it, it's definitely a confection. So now . . . we'll see what I can make. At any rate, it'll make the bureaucracy I have to deal with more pleasant.
If a shirt does get made, I may put up a photo of it, even. And I may say hi from various people I get to visit soon. But the next serious post will hopefully be from a secret passageway in Lyon, because they have, from what I hear, tons of secret passageways in Lyon. So there's bound to be one with wireless. I'm really excited.
