I'm in England! And on my one full day in London, I took a day trip to Oxford. Which reminds me so so much of Chicago. It's all Gothic-y and tower-y. It's different, though, because they have stuff to do here, like cool bars and stuff. But then again, it's the same 'cause everything closes at, like, 9pm.
The trip was centered around food and where to acquire it. We arrived yesterday afternoon, and wandered around 'till we found a run-in curry place. We ordered half portions, and got ginormous things of lamb and chicken curry. The guy at the counter was soooo generous! They had an Indian option on the flight here, too! Nothing more British than Indian food!
Emm . . . Now I have to run to catch the bus back from Oxford to London. More food later!
