Interesting Day

Well, today has been interesting. And yes, it's only 1pm, but since it's unlikely that more unusual stuff will happen, it has been interesting.

We didn't want the garage door and the trunk of our minivan to be lonely, so we got them to run in to one another. But the idea was a disaster. Not only did they not get along, they got into a fight. So I had to spend the greater part of the past two hours patching them up. Well, the trunk door had won, and it was pretty much alright- just a few scratches. But the garage door's legs got pulled out of their sockets, so I had to unbolt them and pop them back in. So now I have a very good idea of how garage doors work. And also that you can use pliers on bolts, and not just wrenches. At least, I'm pretty sure they're called pliers- the ones with the jaws that are all toothy, not the kind that cut wire . . .
